The croissants didn’t materialise as the über bakery and supplier of heavenly chocolate brownies (these could get your batteries charged in a split second - one crumb is enough) did not open its doors today. What is a girl to do?
Buttermilk rusks and a mug of tea are doing the trick and I have 3 movies lined up. Oh, and laundry.
It’s creeping up on me and there’s no resolution. It’s Saturday morning, cold and wet outside. How I wish I could just stay in bed all day surrounded by remote controls and food in reaching distance.
It’s not to be. I have to get to class by 10.30.
Afterwards I’ll meet up with LSB for a buttery chocolate croissant (dunked in an oh so creamy cappuccino) to treat my neglected taste buds. Mmmmm…..
